Wyoming Public Media, which my friends at home and I call, “NPR,” meaning Wyoming NPR, aired an interview with me about An Improbable Pioneer. Reporter Irina Zhorov and the sound techs did a classy job of smoothing and tightening.
What’s amazing, but very Wyoming, is that Irina had alerted me that the interview would go live on her Open Spaces show in a few hours, but before she could send me the link, I got a call from Jerry Sanders in Buffalo saying he’d heard the interview and thought it was excellent. Jerry helped a lot with the book, even going up to the Big Horns to shoot a last-minute pic for a chapter opener the day before he had knee surgery.
